any spore former....most likely bacillus cereus, maybe taking about boiled rice...could be bacillus anthracis, clostridium species

Not just steam, steam under autoclave pressure.

This lists common autoclave times and pressures necessary to kill spores. We use 121/15 psi for most common bacterial media.
