It certainly is... Step 3 is quite different than step 2 ck, even when the study books are very much alike... Practice as much questions as possible (UW and Kaplan's), and learn how to use the CCS sumulator.

Good Luck!!

Hello
Could you tell apart from UW which other bank is a good source for Q for Steps.
And what about CCS . Apart from the CD-rom where can I find more cases?
What score should get to UW in order to get a high score ?
Thank you

Hi everyone

How heavily are considered step 3 scores on an application for residency ?

I have
step 1 score 87
step 2 score 82
step 2 CS
ECFMG certificate
Canadian clinical experience (I work as an OBGYN in Canada, but did my residency in Europe, so I am considered as an IMG for USA)

Do you think that reading Harrisson's Principles of IM is useful (I read a post about an IMG who read HPIM cover to cover ! Those guys are crazy...)

For questions about Canada, I'll be happy to answer
