A 7 year old boy is brought to the office by his mother due to nocturnal enuresis. He has been wetting his bed at night for the past two years. He is otherwise healthy adn has no psychological or behavioral problems. His mother is desperately asking for your help because she has tried alarms and bladder training, all to no success. What is the most appropriate next step in the management of this patient?

A. Insulin
B. Desmopressin
C. Prazosin
D. Haloperidol
E. Clonidine
F. Reassurance

If the child is more than 5 years old, try behavioral therapy first, if that fails, then desmopressin is the drug of choice and then imipramine.
