Kity: The cover sheet for LOR's is not needed if you will send the LOR's yourself. You just need the documment submission form which you can find in the ECFMG website. The date you will use is the date that you are sending the letters and all the documments that you are sending. The LOR cover sheet is needed only when you send it to an LOR writter to ask for a letter and for them to attach it so that the letter doesn't get lost among the tons of paperwork that ECFMG receives during match season. Hope I have helped. Also 6 pages is ok, mine is 8 (well it's 4 but it also has appendix and that covers more) Take care and GL

SSCOOL: I guess if your school wants you to waive and they don't give you a choice...well what can you do? but as an IMG I would recommend to check it because you never know.

ohhhh now that I think about it as an IMG you might not be able to waive it because you will be the one to send it fo ECFMG.... well maybe if they give it to you in a closed envelope but who knows...

That's very good I guess that if they say something nice about you it would be even more valuable, just be sure they send it as soon as possible.

hi guys, how is your match prep coming along...i have been way too busy to do anything...so iwill sure gonna have to buy lists from somewhere...documents have been sent...but i dont have a PS...i have written something but that totally sucks.i am so close to giving up on that..and modyfying something from the net ..and i have to find a way to write atleast 3 different ps for Im, Psych and Neuro.....I dont understand if we have to do anything about our CV...isnt it just filling info in CAF...or do i have to make a separate document?...Not sure...just too overwhelmed by the whole process.... by the way what are you guys writing in the higher education section...like pre-med college or something...

Your CV will be filled out at the same time that you fill out the caf so don't worry about making a different documment although it helps to have it because your CAF filling will be more fluid and you won't forget anything important. Abour the PS try to think of personal stories, that's what I did...although I fill your pain because I just had to do one and you are egoing to have to do 3...one was more then enough for me!!! I didn't want to know anything more about PS!! but try to do a very alike one but with twists to be adequate for each specialty, at least that is what I would do. About the higher education don't worry much about is as IMG's many of us don't have one.

i have a q for the documents sent to ERAS. ERAS only provides info like "package recieved" and does not indicate any detail info about those documents i sent. how can i learn that they have scanned and uploaded docs. Thanks.
