i guess they need the cartoon one, its essential, after u obtain it u get it to fouad nemma or any other offical translator recognized by the US embassy and thats the one u will send not ur orginal one
and recent photo and some other forms ..those were the ones am asking abt

My problem I'm living In U.A.E. if they accept provisional 1 signed & stamped & translated & latter I'll provid cARTOON .dON'T KNOW

delmar i have the same trouble as i am graduated this year and my university gives us the kartoon cirtificate 3 years after the graduation and i asked them to give it to me now but they said that it is not ready as they still prepare the kartoon cirtificate for 2002 graduates,and the problem now is that i need the eligibility period in (8,9,10 - 2007)
so i want to ask you delmar if fouad ne3ma ask for the kartoon one >>>>>>>ya3nee lazem yetargem el shahada el kartoon walla momken yetargem el shahada el mo2kata>>>>>
the provisional cirtificate has the same required dates for the ECFMG like that in the kartoon cirtificate so what is the difference

well , when the translator will translate, the heading will be shahada mo2aktta that would be translated  u cant trick them and u dont want to, so u can pay some extra fees to get ur cartoon certificate done , ressom est3gal thats in the university not the faculty...
Nonia, even if ur in UAE, u can contact any relative or friend in ur class he would get it for u , translate it, stamp it and via fedex to u..perhaps u'll need to visit cairo as well for the other forms to be signed or u can try that friend as well but i dont know if its possible or not ..good luck
