thank you very much, guys it feels so great - to be able to share, and it does feel good CTs and MRIs - i saw quite few in Netanatomy, they have very nice correlations of cadaver and X-rays, CTs and MRIs and it was a hard work that was rewarded at the end God, it feels great and thank you again for your support, it is very important to have one

well, about duration of my preparation i already told before (see above) q-banks: i started in December (here and there) but on everyday basis i started doing it in January and i did at least 100 qs/day (50 Kaplan, 50 UW), sometimes i did more than that, but 100 was my minimum for the day i did questions in timed and tutor mode 50/50, but at the end almost all blocks were im timed mode always worked through my mistakes, except when i was too frustrated by results there were 4 days when i had 82-64-84-62 in KQB and 60-40-66-52 in UW...i didn't know what to think in any event, i gave last 10 days average because first 10 days average was lower and it is not predictive of anything last 3 days i didn't do any tests at all, didn't want to get frustared with bad score (just in case) i didn't finish all questions, did about 65% in each

congratss babydoc!! i was so happy to see your score...i remember reading your exam experience and i kinda freaked out because you said that you had a hard time even getting what they were asking and i thought to myself what's the point of all this studying if in the end i won't even understand the questions....so it was reallllly encouraging to see your score...great work...best of luck for ck

thanks, Blossom16, i remember that too and if i wrote my experience today i would not change a word - i still feel that confusion when i was reading questions...very weired feeling, like i was absolutelye stupid and i was leaving with this feeling after the exam seeing my report makes it so unbeleivable, but it doesn't make it less truth....just more weired

Congrats for such a great score, babydoc! Could you be kind enough to tell me where did you get the word format for the NBME online part? Did you happen to have answers for that and how many of the step 1 NBME are in that format? Congrats once again for such a marvellous score and good luck in your future exams One last question: How helpful was the NBME that you were able to read through?

NBME in format are just like on USMLE CD and first block as easy as CD and to be honest i din't use it much, did....i think 5 blocks (250 questions total), but i didn't know how to interpret results, because there is 3-numbered score correlation, but not persentage of correct unswers, at the end it didn't help me neither see my level of "readyness" nore it resembled real axam... i did found it on i-net....if you still want it PM me

on my exam i didn't have time to recall anything at all, i could pull only information that was "engraved" in my brain. and i would say concepts in general will serve you with greater benefit, if you will pick up few facts here and there along the way - it will not hurt you either as for Goljan - i used his new book mostly
