red looks soooooooooooooo good
don't know my score yet, but i know that i will not be re-teking this exam in my near future
as soon as i get actual score i'll post more
but before i go, i want to thank all of those who helped me through these months of crazyness and agony

byt the way, how is Clozapine? haven't seen for a while, i he(she?) took exam before me

woooooohoooooooooooo!!!!! Smells like something good... Glad to hear it ...I wont be joining you guys in the step 2 forum I'm going to finish the rest of medical school. Still have to do my rotations, rememeber. I will poke around now and then to keep up and to see if you guys are staying motivated and to check your progress. I dont know what happened ot sara(cloz) or palani, or maverick . I think they are all studying feverishly for step 2. Good luck for the step 2 babydoc.

well, quite few people asked me about my preparation and scores in KQB and UW
preparation: it took me about 1 year to do 1 (one!!!) reading while i was qorking, going on vacation, renovationg apartment, lot's of other stuff BUT studying. big mistake! and when i realized it i was facing the only right choice for me: i had to quit my job and abandon the world in order to feed my brain properly (meaning information).
i quit right before th K-live lectures, which i took in October and i was done with lectures by beginning of December. at that time i had my exam scheduled on Jan 16. couple of weeks later i was in shock realizing that i was not ready for the exam at all. so i had it re-scheduled for a month later and sit for a final reading, which took me about 6 weeks, but it were most intense weeks in my preparation. i can compare to lectures, but lectures were better in a way that it was over by 4 or 5, but in could not drop reading during final preparation; sometimes i started at 8 and went on until 10 pm (with breaks off course), but sometimes i was studying between 10 and 8, and some days i didn't read at all
reading: nothing you are not reading - Kaplan, FA, Goljan RR (new book), supplemented by few searches on Google (when we could not find common denominator wo a question); also i used Webpath (higly recommend) and Netanatomy (loved it)
Q-banks: Kaplan = last 10 days before the exam average ~64
UW = last 10 days before the exam average ~59
Kaplan simulation exam (about 4-5 weeks before the exam) = 66%
USMLE CD = 88% average between 3 blocks
NBME = never did online, did Word version and never complete set of 4 blocks, so i don't think it will give you any idea of level of my performance

but now i know what 99 feels like....like.....heart attack!!! i thought i was having one when i was reading my report
