Hi Everyone,
I finally got my score today after about 2 weeks of oasis update..216/89. Not a very stellar score according to the forum standards, but I am happy that I crossed 85 and really thankful that it is over.. I had already posted my exam experience ..titled my exam exp 6th feb..it was tough..and I've already written in detail abt various subjects and what was asked more. But I think every exp is different and u need to be well versed in every topic as its not necessary that u or me or anyone else will get the same type of q's.
I had followed just Kaplan notes and FA. did kaplan qbook and online q bank- 70% in random mixed q's. What I was observing over the last few months..I see people appearing after february generally reporting a greater degree of difficult exams and longer q's which I had also faced. So probably I think now instead of just taking kaplan q bank as gold std a combination of usmleworld+ kaplan shd serve better. I did not do usmleworld myself but when I look back I wd probably like to do it as my exam was a lot tougher than q bank.
All in all the above sources are sufficient for carrying u through the exam. All the Best to all of you and I wd gladly answer all queris..
Lastly, but not the least..I want to thank all the forum members for all the help/ answers and inspiratory posts which gave me a lot of insight about how to go about it. I don't want to leave anyone out..but to name a few..thanks to *P53, robin, sarika, ancylostoma, drplacebo, mazinger..the list is endless. I am an old graduate..did it in 1997 from India so I had a lot of doubts abt whther i cd read all the new stuff and go thru everything but this forum inspired mea lot and here I am.
