I would like to know from people who did not match:
How many IVs did you have?
Did you have any leads from any PDs?
I had 2 IVs in FM, one good letter from PD saying he will rank me high, still I did not match!

10 interviews , positive response from many of those still no Match.

5 I V's with frequent e mails and a few responses, 2 2nd visits.
I dont think replies to e mails and 2nd visits make a huge difference unless they ask you to come.

WR. I agree. I don't think 2nd visits make much of a difference if it is requested by the applicant. A couple of people said 2nd visits are more to remind the applicant what the program is like after such a long interview process with many programs. You'll probably hear 2 sides to this story though.

3 iinterviews, one was only over the phone with PD. Other two were in person. Still not matched.

Match is not about how hard you can work or what is your score. It is all about $$$ and Connections. Instead of doing research find somebody who knows somebody. You will be matched.
