dude no offence - but just read a few of ur earlier posts and see the publics response to them. esp laptops comments..

ask urself wat went wrong. and u wil find the answer within. see others around u and how they interact.

Now I see the importance of interpersonal skills in getting into residency. nod

sorry to hear that harry; i know its easier said than done, but you gotta move on.

btw, apruva's given you a very broad hint, may be slightly bluntly, but hey..i am sure its still with the best intentions.

Anyway, this is the time to scramble. and that you must.

goodluck and may the force be with you.

You have good credentials. Maybe interviews didn´t go very well.

I'm sure you wont have problem getting plenty of interviews next year. You are a very competitive candidate. you are a recent graduate and you are young (younger than me smiling face). Its hard to be unmatch but its not the end of the world. keep your head up. The scramble is ongoing and the next match season is starting in few months. There is no time to cry here.

In my homeland we say " à quelque chose malheur est bon"; learn from this experience; learn to be part of a team. Residency is not like tennis. You dont play alone. you dont need to show that you are the greatest even if you are. its like soccer; you are part of a team and you have to show your interviewer that you are humble enough to fit in with your peers, receive and give as I always wrote you in my earlier posts. Here in the forum you gave the image of a very smart but solitary (and a little bit selfish) colleague. If you give the same impression to programs you'll never match even with all the 99s of the world.

This is my very sincere 2cents.

agree with wamba . and live in rome as romans live. esp talk like them.

Hi Harry99,
I was shocked when I learned you did not get match.
If it is correct, you mentioned you would only rank 4 programs even though you had good number of interview. That's probably the reason. I wish you had ranked all of programs that you interviewed.

For example, doc_droc_apurva also has excellent credentials, but he probably had attended more than 20 programs, and ranked most of them if not all of them.

Good Luck for your scramble or 2008 match.
