I'll be direct with you. Your chances are not good. Even if you were a new grad with better scores, I will say the same thing. But you know what, you already came this far, so I say go for it. Prepare for the scramble. Spend a little more time, spend a little more money, and see this process all the way through. It won't be a pleasant experience. You will get lots of busy signals and your faxes won't go through, but just hang in there for a little bit longer. If you don't get a position, then don't worry about it, you went into the scramble knowing that it was super difficult. BUT, on the slim chance that you actually lock in a position, then hanging in there an extra day will be one of the best decisions you ever made. Good Luck. Jesus will still love you.

Scramble is always difficult, especially for IMG. One AMG who got a position through scramble told me that PD at his medical school had helped him and other who didn't match during scramble days to contact other institutions with unfilled position. It's a prestige for all US medical schools to get every graduate a residency position. Therefore, they will take extra effort during the scramble to get those unmatched into residency. And we as IMG, we have to rely on ourselve. But don't give up, if God will, everything can happen. nod
