lol I never thought I would be so happy to get a scheduling permit. Info for others
So after they screwed up my test, I sent a letter explaining my situation to the ECFMG and NBME. An investigation then followed and after 1 week they told me that the ecfmg may take up to another week to send me my new permit. The ECFMG took one day. I had to reschedule and prometric didnt give me any special treatment. So I cant take it for another week, and I have to take it 300 miles away in houston unless I want to wait 3 weeks to drive 160 miles both ways(bedford) or nearly a month to take it in dallas. So I chose houston to get it out of the way.
After I finish the taking the test I will file a huge complaint with the better business bureau. Prometric has the absolute worse customer service and treat us like animals. Can help but think that it may be due to the lack of competition.

Often after filing a complaint and the BBB will talk to them and the company will usually try to offer you something to resolve the issue. You would be surprised by the power of this organization. I urge all that have had this problem to please file a complain as well.
example, I once bought a laptop on a price mistake 350$ for a laptop that was worth well over 1500. I bought it at the retailer and paid for the computer but after I bought it the manager cancelled the order saying a grave mistake had occured in the companies system. After I filed a complaint, I didnt get the computer but the company offered me a free 150$ gift card. I hope this helps.
I dont think I would have ever been so happy about getting to take a test. The last couple of weeks have been hell. Goodluck everyone!!

lol I guess I understand....though some words should be allowed in cases where the moderator deems it as the only word to properly communicate the idea.

oh, dear,
this will be over soon but what we choose...
i mean the path you choose. This whole story is just annoying obstace, how many of them ahead..
All the time you will see something like this.
As a doctor you have do your best for people, it is the way it is, dont expect same back.
You have to make patient to feel comfortable, but no one care how comfortable you are.
Anyway, good luck with travel and test! i sure you will do the best. 
By the way, i can see posts that all the time someone postpone exam and you might can find opening even in dallas

Your enthusiasm makes me want to prepone my exam too...
Even though I don't know a single word.
Now that I'm readin' kaplan again, everything feels so "NEW".. Sigh!!
