Today , I totally screwed up in UW because I scored 60 % in UW ( a lot of weird questions about ENT ) I star readingh Step 2 secret 37 pages each day . I plan to spend only one week in it so I can start later with FA for last month review
I also did 50 qs in Q Bank , scored 82 % and finally listenned to Goljan Resp

Hey doc, keep on going. You are` doing great. As for me, just started my prep, plan to take it by July end.....
So doc, what do you think is the diff between kaplan qbank and uw questions, since you are now in the process of doing both simultaneously? Also, how would you compare secrets with FA?

What s up Mate ?
Well , to answer your question I can tell you that both of them have shown to be helpfull for me . The questions from Kaplan are more direct and less tricky than those from UW but doing Kaplan first could make UW more DOABLE . If I had to pick , I would go for UW because it can give you a fundamental idea about the level of difficulty of the real exam and make you more confortable for you in exam day .
I am using USMLE secret just for a quick review to activate my hypocampus  for the Boards , I also have Crush Step 2 book but I don t use it because it s practically the same content as Secret ( same author ) . I am using it just for this week
I also add extra UW notes in my FA , this technique saved me Big Time in Step 1 and that -s my best tool for now because that s gonna be my last review for last month . FA works better for me because it s well detailled and has almost the same infos as UW and you can actually answer 70-80 % of UW using FA well .
Morale of the story is : Go for UW , Kaplan and FA ( they all are BIG TIME for Step 2 )

Today I did UW mixed and scored 60 % , It dawn on me that I score higher doing UW subject wise than mixed may be it 's because all kind of weird questions came in mixed qs even biostatics or may be I 's just RATIONALIZATION ( defense mechanism )
I also read 33 pages of Step 2 secrets
Today is MOVIES DAY ............................but I still gotta read my own kaplan notes when I got back to the movies

Today , I had extreme back pain ( I am a chronic pain patient secondary to herniated disk ) so I could not study a lot . I took a break , took some pain killers and went to sleep and when I get back , I did a block of UW and scored 65 % , I start to read some pages in secrets but I didn ' t finish but I promised myself to finish it toonight no matter what .
Next week I plan on starting last month reviewbut I am kinda confused betwen FA and Kaplan highlight but finally I think I will go for both of them at the same time .
Anyway , tomorow is CHURCH DAY . I hope God will give me the strengh that I need for the LAST MONTH BATTLE

Today , I did 46 mixed in UW and scored 71 % , I have lass than 1 month to go and I ' m kinda nervous now since days just flied . I guess it 's a normal feeling afterall .
I keep doing Psych and listen to ALINA , she is so funny , I am also doing some psych question from PRE TEST and keep listenning to Goljan during breaks
Well , I hope this is gonna be a good week !

Bad news ! 60 % in UW ( this blocks was a KILLER )
Finish Psych today and gonna start OB-GYN in FA and Highlight
I did 30 qs from Pre-test Psych and scored 70 %
Finally listen to Goljan before sleeping !

Goljan is worth listenning Big Time if you have time just to reenforce your mechanism of disease , remember 10-15 % of step 2 is still things that we already see in step 1 ,besides like ke said his stuff is also good for step 2 . so I will suggest you to go for it if you have time

Today , I Went to church and I went back home , checked my mail and I found out that they just sent me my scheduling permit . Well , I straight up surfed through prometric.com and schedule my exam date and now it 's a fact
MY EXAM IS IN JUNE 12
No no more game ...........................

Today I listenned to Dr Fischer 's Cad¿rdio DVD and Ped DVD by reading Kaplan at same time
I also read and finish FA PEd
I am reading my own notes in UW and Kaplan now
I will start with Surgery tomorow
I must do at least 10 hours a day this last month

Today I finally did NBME and I scored 520 ( well , I was expecteD more but I still have one month left to improve )
I also did 46 ws of UW and start doing surgery today .
