yeah , but I dont think you should. the test is long, those 10 mins let you relax and ready yourself for the next block. In the end it is your choice.

is calculators allowed or not ? and watches ? i heard that soemtime they put stupid numbers and i m really bad at math and this makes me affraid ___________________ stupidity: the art of making locks instead of making keys

when i went for my exam...they were specified instructions given to me before stepping in to the examination room.i dont remember mentioning of not to read in the breaks...but my personal advice is....to relax....and use the break to replenish ur glucose levels.the calculations in the exam are very easy if u know to solve the problem..calculating wud not take much time.!!! All the best..!

well i specifically asked the prometric guy and he said watch is allowed and i had my watch on for the entire exam ___________________ Dont worry.Nobody knows 100%

ok, mines isn't digital but I guess I will be open to the no watch, and if they let me keep it then it will just be a plus.....

prometric conducts many other exams apart from usmle, watch is not allowed for one of those exams , i double checked with the proctor at prometric he said i can keep my watch ___________________ Dont worry.Nobody knows 100%

you were lucky, i was specifically asked to remove everything from both wrists...like in jail
