Had a panic attack yesterday. I postponed my exam too for a week now its on 25th april.. just want these days to b over soon ...Whatever I do I am just so scaredd of the exam  .. Didnt study yesterday at all to get over with this ..... feeling much better today... Will b doing IM notes now..and just FA in last days...

so today is new day and I am doing Infectious disease..
I just need to remind myself...THIS TOO WILL PASS AWAY.. I just want to work my best so i dont have any regrets at the end!

these last days are so important but my mind is playing all the pranks with me at this last crucial moment... Did not let myself think anything today... just kept on studying... although in slow speed ..But I am happy I w as studying atleast..
Did infectious diseases, hematology today... hope god gives strength to all of us to face it!!

so its been 15 days since I wrote in my journal... all the madness is over for me now..
Yes I gave my test today... finally!!! I was calm during exam I cant believe it..I will repeat it like everyone else it WAS DOABLE... It wasnt as much of a mental trauma as I was expecting it to be...
Now waiting for results... hope god rewards us for our efforts.. Good luck to all and myself!

hey kitty,
1st of all...best of luck in your result...u'll do great....could u plz share ur exam experience as to what was tested the most?.......were there very long questions?...etc etc...as my exam is in a week so any guidence in this regard will be greatly appreciated...

Thanx huyniid, drbin, dr.luck for your wishes.. I dont know what will be my score...but the trend is who feels bad after exam generally gets a good score..and one who is ok after exam tend to score lower.. I think that 'cos just differnt attitude of the examinees.. I believe in doing whatever one can n wait for the results.. lets see..
My exam was mostly IM.... I would say IM+peads was almost 70%...then was Ob/gy had one trauma Q in each block. 2-3 psych Q in each block.. one epidemio... 2 CXR ..2CT..2-4 derma pic.. 1 ecg... not much preventive med...CVS and respi Qs were most often..
I think Qs come randomly from the Q pool.. everyone experience is diff but IM is certainly most of it... Qs were mix of 3 liners to 5-8 liners... got most of the 8 liners in last 2 blocks..so idnt had time in them or else it was ok.. although I wasnt doing any Qs since long time...
overall my exp in aspect of content was very diff.. they just asked very basic stuffs..but in some twisted way... will post detail experience after I get the scoreBut being calm during examand night sleep is most imp... although I was sleeping for just 4 hrs since two days I had problem wih sleeping . Then I took alprax and some wine at 12 pm ...read someone's experience who did that ..slept by 2 pm... Was fresh in the morning.
finally do everything to get a sleep at night b4 exam.. b calm... I took 1 tylenol in the morn and needed one around 6th block for headache... take snacks, water with you..I didnt had lunch...It saves lots of time...
5 blocks went smoothly.. took break after 2 blocks then after 4th block .. still had 30 min break time after 6th block... and really needed that 'cos my last 2 nlock were really long ..and was tired...
Hope it helps...dont worry dr.luck I am sure you will be fine... you are really working hard and that too consistently...which was my greatest weakness I had to take breaks to continue studying.. anyways... GOOD lUCK girl... you will b just fine..

so my journey of CK finally ends today . I got my score today its 225/91
I am happy with it..
I would like to thank this site who gave me opportunity to have my study journal... It was realllllllly very helpful.. I am coming to my journal after such a long time. It reminds me of all the madness but I am happy . All is well if it ends well!!! atleast I passed one exam now have to start CS then step 1 hope I make that soon with god's grace... THANK YOU GOD!!!
