Plz help me understand this "Pathology Report" of my DAD coz i can't wait 4 the doctor's appointment tomorrow – I am so worried and i wanna know right now and will keep myslef online waiting 4 anyone who can tell me anything coz i am so lost:
Nature of Specimen: 1- Peritoneal fluid aspirate 2- True cut needle biospsy
Diagnosis: Peritoneal mass, peritoneal fluid aspirate and True cut needle biospsy, Extensively NECROTIZING ROUND CELL MALIGNANT LYMPHOMA. CASE FOR IMMUNOPHENOTYPING.

i don't think that it is appropriate for anybody to comment on this because:
1. majority of population of this forum are not doctors YET (meaning US MD licensee)
2. assuming there is a doctor with MD plate on his car - it is very unethical (to my inderstanding) to comment on PART of the byopsy without seeing patient OR having complete (relevant) medical records at least.
3. besides, it is not enough to get the answer to the question WHAT IS IT?, it is much more important WHAT TO DO? and HOW TO DO IT? and that is why you have appointment tomorrow
i don't beleive that we are in a position to elaborate on this matter
sorry, but it's best for your Dad and you to wait to see YOUR doctor
