that means that 95% of kids (people) in the age group are higher and 5% and shorter, short dudettewink

I'd say 94% are taller and 5% of the ppl are shorterraised eyebrow. if 95% were to be taller and 5% shorter , then all of 100% ( 95 +5 ) wouldn't include her.. wink correct me if i'm wrong.
{The pth percentile is a value such that at most (100p)% of the observations are less than this value and that at most 100(1 − p)% are greater. (p is a value between 0 and 1)}
