I got 216/89 alhamdullah and i'm really happy. Not a steller score, but i'm still happy cuz i though i was too dumb to pass it, lol.... I had a really crappy education, cuz i'm from a carribean school and my school sucks(not going to say the name of the school cuz i dont want to get kicked out from school, lol). When I got off the island and came back to the USA, I basically didn't know ne thing. All of my preparation was self study. It took me bout a year(i wasted a lot of time, otherwise it would have been bout 6-8 months). My exam exprience was weird because i didn't get ne sleep for the whole night before the exam and so i just tossed and turned the whole night. well, i've been a silent reader of this forum and i want to thank everyone here for being so helpful.

took it on feb 13
found out i passed on march 7(almost had 1st dose syncope)
got my score on march 10th
i found out i passed 3 weeks after the exam, which was really fast.

Even tho i didn't sleep the whole night I was very fresh on the morning. I live in conneticut, but took my exam in New York City. Since I did UsmleRx, the format was the same, so I didn't feel nervous about the format. I felt like I was sitting at home doing the questions. The difficulty level was much higher tho. I did 2 blocks. Then I took a break and ate some sneakers and was trying to go through my notes(that didn't help tho b/c it was soo much). then i did 2 more blocks and took a break. ate more sneakers and drank red bull. this time I tried looking at notes, but I couldn't focus b/c didn't know which notes to read(moral of the story: don't look at notes and just relax during the break). Then i did 3 blocks in a row without a break b/c i just wanted to get over with it.
I got a lot of questions on Neuro(which i wasn't expecting). Also a lot of pt-physician relationship questions. and a lot of path intregrated with pharm and physio. I also at some weird biochem questions which i dont know wat the were asking for. Only a few micro(i wish i had more micro, b/c this was one of my strongest subjects). I didn't hva ne histo, embryo or anatomy. I had a lot of pictures(mri, ct, graphs and diagrapms). well i don't rem that much detail, but if u guyz have ne other questions just let me know.

Hi slacker,
Congrats for ur success. Can u pls tell me when is the ideal time to do oasis. My exam was on Feb 26th and they say it is usually updated on wednesdays. This anxiety is really killing me. Im an IMG. Also hw long will it take to get the results after they update. Good luck for ur next step.
