Is infectious mastitis a contraindication for breast feeding? Kap says no, frequent nursing on the affected side is encouraged to prevent engorgement. UW says stop breast feeding and pump out milk till infection clears. If breast abscess, incision and drainage. So........whats the correct thing to do?????
