Hi all,
I gave my Step I today,I am totally freaked out right now It was tougher than what I expected..I went thru FA,USMLE Q Bank,Qbook,but the questions I got today are not from the regular stuff,basics are tested in most of the questions..cellular microbiology,lots of graphs from physiology...Can anyone throw a light on how USMLE World is? I heard from my friend that the questions in UW are close enough to the Actual exam....I am asking this because I would like to guide my friends so that they would not be this panicked when they give their exam.I would be more happy if anyone shares their recent exam experience...

First of all congrats on at least getting it over with, and secondly thanks for sharing because I am already crazy as my exam nears on the 30th of this month. Remeber to stay positive until you actually get your results but sounds like you will be fine. Also, what type of physio graphs were you speaking of???

Thankyou so much,I wish what u said comes true.About the physio graphs...it was more like pharma and physio....I cant exactly remember the stuff..I got a graph from muscle contraction,some graphs on drug actions. I advice you to have a good knowledge abt medical emergencies like...Pul Htn,Pul edema,ARDS,Pul embolism(clinical presentation and findings)I got many q on them.Try to memorise Mech of drug actions,I got direct q from them and mech behind genetic diseases or for that matter any disease.He did not test me on making a Diagnosis,infact I was given both C/F and diagnosis and I was asked somethng abt disturbance at cellular level. One thing I found good was there was not that much fatigue as I thought,time just moves on.Just concentrate on every q and dont get panicked if u get tough ones,u might be lucky with the next q.ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR EXAM.

usmle WORLD is almost the same as the real thing WELL THATS MY POIT OF VIEW
i think, and remember we all have diferent opinions, plus Qbooq is the best way to prepare
