Competent patient has right to know their diagnosis even if it is fatal like in this patient case ( pancreatic cancer ) . Ask him if he wanna know , if so , just tell him . It 's either B or C
but B sounds more appropriate

because you have to respect the patient wish! If the patient doesn't want to know the result you don't have to tell him but maybe he feels more confident when his daughter is around and she could be a real help for the patient !

where does the question state that the patient himself tell you not tell him any basd news or he prefers to take the news from his daughter ?!!!
