yes C is correct Pit adenomas vary in size from microscopic to 10cm in diameter. These may greatly enlarge sella turcica and may compress nearby brain structures. After a certain size is reached, the neoplasm breaks thru the diaphragma sellaa. Many structures may be compressed by growing neoplasm, particularly optic chiasm, nerves and tracts, and non-neoplastic cells of the gland. In most instances, pituitary neoplasms are encapsulated and benign. Over half of these neoplasms are chromophobe adenomas, and most of the remainder are eosinophilic adenomas or mixed in cellular types. Basophilic adenomas are uncommon
