60 yr resident of northern Minnesota who was an inveterate fisherman in nearby lakes became pale and easily fatigued. He was found to have megaloblastic anemia due to Vit B12 def. Further studies show a helminthic infestation. The causative organism is

a) Diphyllobothrium latum
b) Echinococcus granulosus
c) Hymenolepis naud
d) Taenia saginata
e) Taenia solium

Diphyllobothrium latum, it is a fish tapeworm.
