Dear friend, Actually most people try to finish some number of scheduled pages and not the concepts. If you couldn't understand even a single concept, halt there.Try to understand and go to the next page.As for as the first reading is concerned, it is good to cover at least 20 to 30 pages per day.If you get fatigued, then go to some other different subject which you can understand easily unlike Genetics but like pathology. This is ideal for 6 months preparation. For second reading 50 pages per day.I need 3 readings to attain confidence.

I begin my studying day by reviewing all my notes I make from UW or Qbank. Then I read my books/listen to Goljan for a few hours. Then I do questions based upon what I read. If I score below my target, I read some more, and make notes on the items I got wrong. I don't really keep track of number of pages. But I keep a diary of my topics and scores, so that when I start my final review, I have a good road map to work with.
