I thought AMG's generally get 15 to 20 IV's raised eyebrow

Nevr heard of AMG's get less than 10 IV's

some of them are very picky and will apply to very few and attend only a couple of interviews...
aaahhh...to know such comfort....

I know somebody who got accepted with only one interview. She is an IMG, but either US citizen or greencard holder. And she had done observership at the same institution before (an university based program).

I know a guy who studied with me for the CSA. He passed on the first attempt, I didn't (and my English was better than his!) . He is a smiley, tall, skinny, curly haired Italian citizen. He is very outgoing and not shy at all.

He applied to many places (about 100)
He got one interview, and got prematch. So he must be finishing his residency in Family Practice now, in Long Island, NY.

He did not have high scores but he was optimistic and not afraid to ask for what he wanted.gringrin
