Dear bbb or anyone else who can answer, What documents do we need to apply for the State Temporary Licensure ? Certification of Licensure section of the form: Since I have not been practising for a long 10 years now, I do not have a valid licence from my home country. Can we say on the form that the licence has lapsed, or we need to renew licence from home country and get that section of the form filled from the licensing body in the home country? Please help. Thanks.

Every state is going to be different. I can't answer this.

rk, for state license i was given to understand that they are interested in any pervious licenses held in the US only. Of course you will need to provide a CV covering gaps in education and practice of medicine. it is best to clarify yr doubts with yr resi program's graduate medical educaton dept. hope this helped. g/l
