During the Scramble, do you call first or fax your documents to the programs that you are interested in first? Most of the people said that the unfilled positions are filled within the first three hours. What is the best strategy?

CALL!!!!!! (Call if the NRMP indicates that the program has openings)

bbb, what if we can't get through over the phone? Should we not fax/apply via ERAS meanwhile?

If you have scanned your documents, Scan them again with low resolution like 100. Also, about pictures resize them by ACDsee. May it helps.

Every scramble day my fax prints for hours. Pages and pages, reams and reams of paper.....that just is tossed into the recycle bin for positions that we don't have. My opinion - if the program has openings, go ahead and apply how they indicate for you to apply.

But since no one believes that there isn't a "nrmp trick", I don't think that my opinion matters.
