Hi All,
I just could not understand,it would be great if u can answer my question.
Now after taking step 3 do we need to apply for the licence???.
If yes where and how.Is the valid forever or Do we need to renew it .
Does the licensing organisation needed to be provided with any information or does it contacts our medical school back home.
Please reply....

hi reliable,
one applies for license of the state medical board only after prematch/ match
you need to know which state you are going to be doing residency in before applying
its a limited license that needs to be renewed yearly
the paperwork for the license will be provided by yr resi program. and yes, yr med school needs to verify yr med education credentials.
