Yup, thats what I thought too... Kap says: "Menopause is defined as 3 months of amenorrhea with elevation of FSH and LH." Is this right? I always thought the criteria was 12 months!!!???

As far as i knew 3 mths was for amennorhea.....I got a bit confused too at first!

I think the right answer for definition of menopause is: 12 months of amenorrhea (No menstrual periods) with serial identification of increased FSH and LH for at least 3 months AFTER that.
