Just through my step 1. I think Kaplan qbank is yet quite relevant notwithstanding all these talk about USMLEWORLD.
Dont know if I will pass but most questions were straightforward. Anybody who has done first aid and Kaplan would surely pass.
I had a problem as I am a old grad 1987 MBBS and had problems in retaining data. Concepts were tested well. Some very bizzare questions in my 7th block which I dont think even the best of students would have been able to answer. Also a lot of Behav questions were there.

Could u tell us exp in subjectwise?what about ur nbme score,qbank score?Goljan audio and goljan path how much help in exam?

Congradulations.I have sensed that you are relieved from the tension of Step 1 and is pleased to know that..I will sit for my step 1 in a month time.How did you find Molecular biology and Biochemistry?Would you please elaborate more on your preparation and give certain clues about the exam too??

Ok. Lot of Patho n Patho physio questions. Very limited pharmac and Biochem. Micro got about 5 on TB.
I goofed up in the 7th block. Guess my brain tired out. There was a question asking about the V cranial nerve .I clicked the wrong answer and can you iamgine ... said that an injury causes less ipsilateral lacrimation...how stupid. Lot of Behav. Odds ratio. One question that is not there in FA about the embryology of the pitutary gland. The orientation was inverted in the diagram.
One picture showing 12 fingers in one hand... genetic defect? Didnt know.
God, I think I messed up a lot of questions. The more I think about the test, the more I think I will fail.
Guys keep the material you study to the minimum, but learn it by rote. Not possible to recolect everything in the time constrained situation, also cannot think u r way through the question ratioanlly. Once the 1 min for the ques was over I used to panic . I did not get time to calculate simple things like the odds ratio.
This advise is for the slow guys like me and not for the whizkids, so dont get me wrong.
