A Febrile 5-year old child is observed to have small vesicles and ulcers over the anterior tonsillar pillars,soft palate and uvula.The remainder of the oropharynx appears bnormal.these findings are most chracteristic of
1) herpatic stomatitis
2) recurrent aphthous stomatitis
3) infectious mononucleosis
4) herpangina
5) streptococcal pharyngitis
