Hello all, I was supposed to take my Step 3 during the Jan-March slot. For some reasons I filed for an extension of my slot to the Apr-June period. Lately, I have been having multiple family problems and have been unable to study. Is their any way I could request a further postponement or is the only way I can not give the exam (and appear for it later) is by forfeiting the exam fees? I really have been having tough times and even had to cancel some interviews since I had to rush back home. I would greatly appreciate some response. Nachos

Hey Nachos, sorry to hear about your problems. just wanted to say that the best and most reliable way of finding out this info is calling the fsmb (they do respond to email, but thats slower as there is a lag period of few days before they respond). all the best.

You can only extend for 90 days one time which have already done. According to FSMB, if you do not take it within these extended 90 days, you will have to apply and pay again the full fee.
