2)Paranoid pts mistrust physicians. They tend to scrutinize every bit of evidence or information they are given, and will often be non-compliant out of fear of unforseen, negative consequences.
I am not sure about explanation of 1, i will look it up or someone else can help us out

1) is Factictious ( I am not sure y it used passivity to describe it)

These pts feigned symptoms in order to assume sick role. External motives absent. Dramatic but vague presentation. May exhibit pseudologia fantastica. Also known as Munchausen's Syndrome
