A 9 -year old boy has been referred to you for evaluation of bedwetting.he is dry during the day but wets every night.his physical examination and urinalysis are normal.which one of the following is the most appropriate method for managing this child? 1)psychiatric counselling 2)desmopressin(DDAVP) 3)walking at night 4)nighty diapers 5)limitation of fluid intake

behavioral therapy first, including pee before going to bed, no drink before going to bed, wake at night to go to WC.. Next step is Desmopressin. Answer is not clear but I guess 5 (limit water intake at night/before sleep)

Desmopressin seems like the only familiar answer choices.

I think answer 5 is the best choice as we shouldn't start with medication unless we find failure of normal ways to stop bed wetting at night especially there's normal urine analysis ...then we can try desmpressin
