i had nbme score of 330 (form 4)took it 3 days before my exam...
but didnt want to postpone as i had done it twice...
i managed to pass but again with low score of 76....(1st attempt) with
GOD's grace....hav CS in april...

congrats. yes, why not provided you pass step2 ck and cs before september 2007.

1st and foremost congrats!!!!!!!!!!! I believe there are some who didn't pass on the 1st try that would switch places with you in a minute.
Secondly, there is still a national shortage of physicians and slots that go unfilled. Stay encouraged don't worry about yesterday as you begin to prepare for tommorrow. You will be fine for the match of 2008 and you are 1 step ahead of me as I would like to participate in the 2008 match also and plan to take step in 4 weeks.

Hey Summer thunder I am sure she meant rescheduled, as I was suppose to initially test on October 24th and after taking NMBE I and getting a 136, I called the test center and rescheduled for December 13th only to take NMBE on November 21st and got a 140, so I called and extended my eligiblity period from October1-Dec. 31st 2006 until March 31st, 2007. I am now shceduled for March the 30th & planning to take the NMBE 3 on this weekend.
Readusmle thanks for sharing as I was so discouraged with my past NMBE scores and dreading the thought of doing it again, but because of your testimony I feel that I can do it especially now that I am at the end of my rope, but you gave me hope. Also, I honestly don't believe God would have let you pass if He wasn't going to bless you with a spot for the 2008 match. Because had you failed you would have been totally screwed, so just go forth and be blessed

Well i took the exam on feb 23rd, and im still waiting for the scores. I took them 4 weeks, 2 weeks and 1 week before exam. Those test are very precise cause i got almost the same % in all 4.

Wow, I guess I need to suck it up and just take my NBME 3 then this week and get it over with. But, just stay positive and thank God it is behind you......

hey Tashidondrup, I would like to know your grade because you got the same score on all of the nbme tests.
