18 yr old man comes for initial examn coz of 3yr h/o fatigue,migrating joint pain.he's brought a large folder containing info about previou medical consultations,lab tests n xray fims.he takes no medications.weighs 50kgs n 173cm tal.physical examn normal.on mental status,he's preoccupied with his symptoms.when askd abt his mood he states future appears bleak.n he's too tired to think abt i.which is the next step in management?

i am with A..
cos:
a large folder containing info about previous medical consultations,lab tests n xray
also,an ocd patnt can b depressed(future seems blank)
but...... i dnt think it is purely depression..choice C
physical exam normal so choices F and E are ruled out
choices B & D doesnot make sense 2 me as an answer..
plz correct if wrong..

i initially marked A due to the lab reports n his folder with all info.but he has weight loss,he's only 50kgs with future bleak.not sure A or C.anyone?

he is not asking about what do u think the diagnosis is or why
this man appears depressed u have to ensure he is safe 1st
