i have been offered a lab position and my DS 2019 should be here soon.... should i hire an immigration lawyer to help with the visa paperwork?? is it safe to do it myself, i dont want to mess anything up after reaching this far! anyone knows a good immigration lawyer in mumbai????

Hi, u dont need to hire anybody for that. As long as u r paid enough and its a good university, it shouldnt be a problem at all. The only thing is that u may be subjected to 2 year home rule requirement. Moreover u cannot convert j1 research to j1 clinical visa in the US. Hope this is helpful. Good luck
