thx maverick, appreciate that! yeah i wanna be a srgn! I can spend a good amount but only after visa ...normally all require full payment of Mal insurance fees plus other pre-requisite charges before they send us the acceptance. Visa is an issue..........they dont return our buck if visa is rejected...... still if fate has it I'll find a way.i'll try for a srgry elective till then.....further advice will really help thx

hi dowjunk. sorry, I'm not here for giving, but for asking for a hand... you mentioned about the malpractice insurance. do you know any insurance company that you can contact in order to buy a malpractice insurance? it seems that this is the problem of all the students that wanna do these electives. thank you for your help.

see mostly every place that u apply to, u send $50-100 along with the application. then when u get accepted, get ur visa and send them the confirmation along with the whole amount. u cant afford to spend $50-100??? besides, who is asking ur parents to foot the bill. take a bank loan. cheap places - mayo - charge $250 baylor - $50 cornell and yale - around $2000 harvard - $3000 these are inclusive of malpractice insurance
