In Hypoparathyroidism, despite hypocalcemia - why is calcification of basal ganglia and lens seen? Thank you.

I Know one thing which Goljan told in his lectures that High levels of Phosphorus drive Calcium in the brain tissue n the cause of the cataracts is unknown. However there r the PTH receptors present in brain, heart, skin, lung, liver, and testis so that can explain excess influx of Calcium but how i havent figured that one out
