well i have just given step-1 and expecting my result in week . i am thinking that i wil give my cs exam by the august 2007. so i want to ask you that if i give exam in august , then can i elligible for 2008 match ?

you will be eligible, but it's better if you have all results in, this way you know for sure that you passed your exam and there will be no unpleasant surprises for you

if you'll be giving exam before summer you will not encounter this new format.
i was hoping to do the same, but i still have month of waiting for my results and i feel like i flanked, so it's not a good idea for me to start new preparation
