hi friends
I am IMG graduated 3 years ago and have clinical exprience in obs and gyn in maternity teaching hospital in my country.have i got to take a LOR from this hospital or it dosnt work at matching ??and if i have to ,plzzzzz how to write this letter in details plzzzz????

Yes, you should get LOR from anywhere you can, and use them wisely later on.
Go to ERAS webpage and click download documents, there is one page instructing how to write the letter.

I want to thank you for all that great job that you do on you forum. I just want to know how program directors authenticate the LoR. In other words how do they determine the originality of the letter. Did anybody try to fabricate the LoR?

they do enquire about its authencity with the person writing the LOR... They also call the person or mail the person writing the LOR even if its from your home country... This is what I have heard..

authentication really does not happen that often - unless either the letter is written too flowery or if there are doubts on the resume
