1. the total exam including break time is 8 hours long, right? if one starts at 8 am, one should be finished by 4 pm? 2. as for the tutorial 15 mins practice questions, can I practice it for 5 mins or so. then just move on to the real exam?

timeframe about right but the only way you can avoid tutorial is if you keep pressing "next" button but in few questions the require you to make a choice (pick an answer) and you should do it otherwise red screen comes up an says that you missed a questions it takes about a minute, not taking much of your time

i called the center, the lady told me that if i start at 8, i should be expected to finish around 6 pM?! that is why i am asking this question. she told me that i should try to get there at 7:15, even though the exam starts at 8 am. so should i do the tutorial, just so to get myself familized with the enviorment, the computer, etc? i certainly don't want to spend 15 mins on it. no need to.

if you have USMLE CD (they send it to everone) you can go through on CD, it's the same on the exam, ths way you can "click" it through as for the time: my exam was scheduled for 9 i got there @8:20 started exam @8:30 left center @4:30
