Hello Everyone
Can anyone guide me how to diagnose the type of Schizophrenia?I mean:-Catatonic,Paranoid etcetera..I have read Niraj Ahuja two times but not getting how to determine the type of Schizophrenia.
So help required anyone who could elaborate types of Schizophrenia?

Ill do 2:

Paranoid- best prognosis, feeling suspicious, delusions and hallucinations

Catatonic-- waxy flexibility, may hold there arm out, mutism, psychomotor disturbances, echopraxia

What about other kinds?and dude what you have told me is already written in books.Please elaborate.
I want an elaborate explanation.

the best beat would be the DSM -V or VI- thats the bible..or Kaplan and Saddock for text type definitions... (i use definitions only good enough to get thru USMLE.)
