I thought this forum is for those who are applying for residency match. I never knew that we can get a credit from here

www.medscape.com is easier. There is another website for CME, that used to give 7 credit free of charge for reading an article for first time users. www.emedicine.com

mty: I think there are several ways to get those credits, I'm really not very informed about it but for example you can get them through online courses (free or paid) such as those websites you wrote down, also assisting to courses/congresses/conferences in person, also doing academic activities in USA (maybe doing research also counts and teaching but I'm not sure). maybe the easiest way to get them is using these online courses for free you said. medscape subscription is free but you have to find out which are the specific requirements of Illinois for your temp license, it varies from state to state.

Hi mty, Is the AMA PRA category 1 credit requirement of 60 earned online sufficient to get the Illinois State temporary license ? I mean, is it equivalent to the required 150 CME credits for Illinois ?
