if due to certain visa issues I am not able to start the residency by july what will the program do.will they wait for me or give my slot to some one else.how long can they wait
pl help me

Every program will do something different. Some years we can wait - some years we can't. Residency programs need residents to care for patients. If it's a day or three, it's usually not a big deal - if it's months; as a program we can't always wait.

One program waited for me for 34 years .but now i have decided to decline the offer .
