Kaplan Qbank USMLE

Today, did 8 blocks of Qbank before reviewing IM. Feel tired after 4-5 blocks and sometimes I scanned the Qs content only. I think that why ppls said the last blocks were the most difficult.

Qbank Qs are 60% lengthy and distracting, so I need to find out a stragegy to overcome this issue.

huyniid,

Good job on the 8 blocks of q bank! I cannot study anything afterwards if I did 8 blocks of Qs in a rowsmiling face

I need to hurry up... Feel a little bit stressed out last a few days...

  #28

Start IM review and begin count down

14 days left.

Done with Rheumatology

Target: 2 sections per day and 100 Qbank or UW. 2 days left of Qbank registration sad though I have 400 Qs left (for 8hrs tomorrow!).

Feel that I should have read cmdt long time before !

  #29

Good luck friend
we gottta do it real fastttttttttttttttt

  #30

12 days left

Yesterday I had to change my work time, from night to day time to adapt with the exam, so I had to sleep early

Finished Qbank.

Begin to read 2nd time of UW, topic-oriented and read explanation in USMLE CD.

Have 5 days left for IM review. I have read GI, rheumatology and nephrology. There are 9 sections left

it is hard to complete the plan everyday.

huyniid,

It is wise to make 8-5 the most efficient time. I am thinking the same thing because I like to study at night.

If you are in the US, be aware of the daylight saving time starting tomorrow.

You are getting there,do the best you can and good luck!

ALS@ Yeah it is quite difficult to change the efficient time. Yesterday I wondered why I cannot study efficiently, and looked at Robin's productivity smiling face, so jealous!

I am done with reading Cardio, and 100 Qs of Uw. Still have 60 left.

I also extended UW once, but not that long as yours. 4 months sad

Today, Pulmonary and Qs

  #33

huyniid,

Don't worry, you still have time to adjust the time, 11 days should be long enough to adjust the 11 hours jet lag smiling face

I assume Robin is younger, there is the reason why he can be so productive without feeling exhausted. I can study one day like that and then the next day take it easy.

You have a great NBME score and you are working hard, You will do great!

I am 10 year graduate, just younger than him 4 years

kity@ Thanks for your stopping by. I am trying to survive these days

Robin@ I just done NBME2 today. Two days ago I could not touch my PC and my books sad

I am behind schedule now sad.

4days left. I still have immunology in border line sad

Need to review step 1 again, cause I lack these knowledge

  #47

3 days left. I still have > 500 Qs of UW not done 2nd time. Feel losing my concentration.

After taking NBME, I fing some big gaps and try to cover it. Wish I have some days more for the Test sad sad

  #48

I am considering of NBME3 on the day before the Exam. I want to improve my score

Which score is appropriate for the Test? It is a hard question sad

  #49

Hi huyniid, don't lose faith on yourself! You have a great NBME1 score a few weeks back and I am sure you have improved a lot since then.

I haven't done the test yet and cannot give you much advice on how to arrange the last 3 days(e.g. doing UW questions etc.). But make sure you take it easy the day before your test and have a good night sleep!

  #50

ALS@ Thanks for your encouragement. You are right, the important thing is how to deal with 9 hrs, not only the score. I am still not adapt with the jet lag sad

In my case, I think that NBME is useful for me to find out the weak points which I cannot recognize when I am doing the UW or Qbank.

Today, start the Qs of IM, and try to fill the gaps. I think we old IMG can do it, ALS
