need help from all moms given mle how did u do it i have 3 kids n have just started ck , how did u people managed , plz reply

Well it's hard shabee. There's a lot of pressure & you have to think that your studies is not the main priority anymore.. it's your kids, your family. It all depends on how you
manage your time but there are, there will be a lot of unexpected happenings within your life that has nothing to do w/ mle. It's all up to your perseverance & positive outlook in life. i can speak for myself I am almost all the time a very positive person but pressure in taking this mle w/ family gets in me all the time. it'svery stressful. So my point is .. be ready for whatever unexpected circumstances in life that comes along the way while studying for this mle. This is reality for us, with families. It's not the same anymore when we were just students & don't think about anything else but studying.

as much as Im free like today, it's holiday, no school so I tell my kids to do things on their own & let me study.I have been feeling sick for the past few days too so it's not good. I study from 9-1 pm daily during school days, then 10- 12 at night. Realistically that's my schedule. If I get up early to catch up, I am awake at 4am but I don't do that every day or I'll be spinning around when I'm driving to & fro the road.Just lucky I'm not working but it's a negative aspect once I apply for residency or for a job.
Anyway just study as much as you can. Kaplan notes, Qbook, UW , FA & Crush the Boards.

lucky u r that ur kids r school going all of my three are uder 5 yr i can't imagine to study in day time they need my full attention when r u planning to take exam

a/f a lomg break with alot of household i m strating once again . hopefully i will finish till hernias . slow but steady!
i m happy that b/c of this journal now i feel my self accountable for what i m studying . i have planned to revise trauma today but i can't make it tonight

and finally my g, surgery chapter is finished i have also done paeds surgery , small chapter i feel so responsible with keeping this journal update . it is very very hard for me to study with kids , but i m trying my best . just 2-3 days b/f my output was zero but for the last 2 days i m doing something
god plz give me strenght

surgery completed with mcqs from kaplan q bank book , started psychiatry , done first reading , started revision from today hopefuly revise 6 -8 chappters today

Passed step 1, studying for CK, I do what I can. Study every day from 6:30 to 8:30 AM, when the kids awake. I write flash cards and carry them everywhere. During the last two months I'll stick to the computer for q-banks and let daycare and husband after the kids.

i ahve started cardiology from today this is going to be my last chapter of internal medicine i can hardly study 2-3 hrs in aday
