Hi, I have received a prematch offer last week, which I accepted verbally and also the PD emailed me saying that I have accpeted it and I should be withdrawing from the match. My dilemma is I havent received the contract yet and is likely to take atleast around a week or so from now. As we all know, I should withdraw before 21st of Feb, which is just a few days away. Will it be safe to withdraw from the match based on the email? If not, what can I do to be safe? Thanks in advance!

Thanks dev. People who had premacth offers in dec or jan had the chance to wait until they signed the contract before withdrawing from the match, but my situation is different because of the time when I received an offer. Hence, I am a little worried.

s100, first of all, congrats on the prematch! i understand yr anxiety. i think it would be wisest if you withdrew, as you have an email confirmation. if you do not withdraw and happen to match elsewhere, there will be more problems to deal with. thats my stand, at least.

share your anxiety with the program leadership. I you have signed nothing yet, I would rank that program no.1 and not withdraw.

S100, why you don't call the program and ask the PD?
