The Ans is C Guys

"In addition to blood gas disturbances and sleep disruption, Upon arousal there is a sudden pulse rate and blood pressure rise, probably due to activation of the sympathetic nervous system as part of the arousal process itself. During the actual frustrated inspiratory efforts, blood pressure falls with each reduction in intrathoracic pressure (pulsus paradoxus) and, in conjunction with the blood pressure rise on arousal, produces a very characteristic trace. As well as increased nocturnal catecholamine secretion in patients with obstructive sleep apnoea, there is also a suppression of growth hormone and testosterone levels. There is marked polyuria during sleep (a reversal of the normal relative oliguria), but the mechanism is not clear. It may be related to the recurrent arousals, or to increased atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) production following right atrial distension due to large inspiratory efforts."

Thats y i have posted it on the forum the only reason i had found this question in an other forum with C as right answer i looked it up in Oxford Textbook and the only thing they didnt mention was the chest pain. AS far as i understood abt atypical chest pain was that any chest pain which is of noncardiac origin. now this is wht i have understood.

Polyuria during sleep doesn't mean enuresis.. ppl with disturbed sleep due to sleep apnea r not gonna pee in bed. They r gonna be disturbed n get up to pee..wink

I couldn't find enuresis association wth sleep apnea anywhere except wikipedia.. but wikipedia hs combined symptoms in adults n children...and its articles r edited by users.. So.. i dunno if we cn go by that fr picky details like this one..
