hi docash,

i can understand how u r feeling now. but it seems great instead of hoping down ur moral is high, its good .take few days rest and change ur envoirment.than start again. i am also suffering with lack of basics. thats why i extend my exam ,im married too and graduate 3 yrs ago.my q bank score are very close to u 565.

now doing usmle world and scores are still low.30 to 40%.

would to like to tell me that FA is how much helpful?

good luck for next time

hi docash,

well, sorry to hear about your result. like all the others said, do not give up. this exam is so very tough and tricky, anybody can fail. just pick yourself up and start again.
i can tell you from my experience that a lot of the exam was just basics. so, don't cover too much. i found FA to be amazing (except physio and pathology). it focuses and the most important things and leaves out the rest. i would always recomend it. it helped me get through.
good luck on your next try. just believe in yourself!

Dear Docash,
I'm sorry to hear your story but very glad that you are ready to prepare all over again. thats the spirit.smiling face

Oasis gave me red screen and I haven't got my score report yet. But I can give you one helpful hint about studying while doing household chores. I'm an IMG graduated in 1998 and have a 3 year old and a 5 year old. My husband is a PhD student in molecular biology spending literally most of his days in lab. I had my headphones on with either Goljan or Kaplan lectures on the go most of the time cooking, watching kids play, in the car and even went to lie down with kids with my headphones on. Goljan audios and his notes were my sole sources for path. Once went through them while following the notes in computer. After that listened to them whenever I could. They helped me BIG TIME to remember and integrate facts (not just pathology but others as well). I am eager to see how well I did though.smiling face

Had a little notebook in the pocket all the time and wrote down imp. facts and looked at them whenever I could.

I wish you best of luck and all the courage to start over.

Hey everyone!TNX a lot.......it means so much to me that everyone is so helpful.I know i have to go on cuz leaving everything here doesnt solve anything.I wanted to cry out loud when my application started going on and on.But then i thought crying wont help,i need to be strong cuz i'm not the first one who failed. If i try again and in a better way maybe i can make it in my 2nd attempt. The hardest part is when u have put so much effort in this exam and then u get nothing out of it.My hubby keeps telling me"U can do it"again and again.I missed so many important family gatherings due to this exam, i was so stressed out in the end that i had to take the exam cuz i could not study more.

Yea i know now that i have to do goljan again and again.Once i receive my scores i will make a new plan n will inshallah stick to it.Do u guys recommend that i watch kaplan DVDs?

Tnx once again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bye.
